This is a radio show… Radio 3 is dull and record review is one of the few highlights. It discusses new classical music releases with academics and musicians. If the whole schedule contained programmes of a similar nature with the odd concert the ratings would soar. Unlike modern music a lot of classical needs explanation, exegesis and education just playing whole chunks doesn’t help attract new listeners and neither does 3 hour concerts. I don’t want dumbing down but a wising up. So five stars for the show but only 3 stars for the whole radio station. Oddly, if it wasn’t for the late night discussion, art and drama I would be only giving it one point. It needs a new beginning along the lines I’ve mentioned. Going trendy with film and computer game music is a bit pathetic really.

Very cheesy presentation but the game was really ‘so what”? Main weakness is that how can you support such vague teams. imagine just one London football team, it doesn’t work like that. The boundaries were so small you could have farted and got four..
