Christopher Nolan's take on the Dark Knight is perhaps one of the all time greatest movie trilogies. The MCU may have all the glory these days, but Nolan's Batman films are top notch and perhaps DC should use them as a prototype for future DCEU films. The casting is perfect. I know that there is a lot of debate on Christian Bale as Batman, and the "Batman voice" he used in the films but I think he was the perfect choice for Nolan's vision of Gotham's Dark Knight. Too many people get hung up on comparing Bale's version to Keaton's, but the two really aren't comparable in my opinion. Each was the perfect casting for the way the role was portrayed in each of their respective films. I admit, that when Batman Begins was released, it took me awhile until I finally watched it as I was nearly completely ruined by Joel Schumacher's two awful Bat-flicks. I'm glad I gave Nolan's movie a chance, and they are now 3 of my all time favorite movies. Hans Zimmer's scoring is the perfect compliment to Nolan's visions as well.
