Unfortunately- this film was no Chariots of Fire- which was my hope. It felt very heavy handed and lacking in character development - and sadly no true insight into what made them all finally gel. As a lifelong rower, it felt hollow. But it was cool seeing the imagery- cinematography was A+.

Wonderful premise of color-blind high society fictionally set in the early 19th century. beautiful scenery and production values. Dialogue was insipid and ultimately frustrating. Implausible situations and flimsy character motivations.
