Take the critic score, add the user score, then divide by 2 and add about 10% extra scoring on to that to get the real score. Gameplay- 10/10 Story- 3.5/10 Its well polished and the fighting feels great along with the other gameplay. The lgbt aspects don't feel forced so dw about that, but the overall progression of events was confusing, annoying, and disappointing at best. The end left me sad to see what they had done. They pushed too much of a cushy story and lesson for an unforgiving post-apocalyptic setting. It was a "revenge is bad and you shouldn't pursue it" story where it should have been "they've taken away everything from you, so they've just released an angry little monster who has nothing else to lose" story. That's what everyone wanted, and they didn't deliver. So overall? I hated the story and am disappointed, but I had a blast playing the game while I complained.
