Spoiler alert I thought that the show was cute and funny and fast paced. The sisters reminded me of the type of relationship that I have with my sister. But the ending…. A man who has wanted to be head Rabbi his ENTIRE life would throw that dream away for a non believer…. The season should have ended with the balcony scene. The actually ending had me cursing and discussing the purpose of perspective of the writers and producers.

I’m a 45 year old female. And I RARELY binge watch anything, but I couldn’t stop. Loved the string female characters and the action.

I’m not sure what to think about it... was it a parody of Hollywood and the film industry? Or was it a reflection of the emotional trauma women must endure in order to let their male counterpart shine? I found Zendaya’s role to be her typical typecast and John David to be over the top verbally abusive when the role didn’t warrant it. It was a painful -to-watch-depiction of a toxic relationship.
