one thing i usually say to describe myself is that the only thing PC about me is my computer. That being said, this movie pissed me off more than anything else. Excellent use of stereotypes, superbly captures the demeaning, humiliating behavior toward the not-so-popular kids who are so used to all the bullying by the time they hit college they just pretend right through it. It sickened me to see the characters try so hard to just be "normal" and this movie just drives home the labels. I literally felt my heart hurt for these boys and the only thing worse was the ending. I hated this film, not because of the acting or technical production, but because it made this staunch, die hard, politically conservative woman ill with disgust. Some of today's greatest problems exist because people refuse to take responsibility for themselves, their children, their choices and yet here is a film that fosters the bully mentality, the rejection of anyone different, and rewards them in the end. Should have chosen the rich prick who wants to live off daddy forever.. David just wanted to be accepted. Bad form.
