I recommend watching this better than average musical biopic w captions . 1985 event recreation runs too long w too many corny Hollywood cutaways . What makes this standout is for once we are treated to HOW the music was made and why. Along w The Doors movie , this is overall satisfying . Most biopics on rock and roll heros are awful or just too “Hollywood “ .
