Weather you like this game or not will depend on your interpretation of the story. Many people see it as a revenge story, but I see it as a story about a person that is loosing touch with who they are and eventually realizing what's happening to themselves. (SPOILERS) After Abby kills Joel Ellie gets mad and desides to hunt down Abby. Ellie is blinded by her hate and ends up doing threally bad things. In the end she sees that Abby is just like Joel and she finally gets a hold of herself and realizes all the bad things she did to get vengeance on Abby. She also realizes that killing Abby would just get her killed because Lev would kill her for killing Abby.
