Extraction 2 is an action packed film that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just like the first film, the seamlessness of one-take sequences didn't disappoint. Chris Hemsworth once again did an exceptional Job as well as other supporting actors. Spoiler Alert: While the story was well written. I think the young boy 's character didn't quite develop fully. In my opinion he had very little motivation to have sympathy for his father after witnessing the abuse on his mother on multiple occasions. I was expecting more at the end from the boy to redeem himself for the mistake made. 5 stars. A must watch.

The film had a lot of potential but lacked character development with a bunch of unecessary scenes, plot holes and dry dialogues. Directing could have been better. Even the James Bond hero didn't look like he was giving his 100%. The robbery looked too easy with no real challenges or tension build up. Although the cinematography was great and I liked the desert car chase sequence. Good entertainment for the average viewer and the family movie night
