I actually liked this film a lot. What I hate, are those who feel the need to compare this to the original. Obviously it isn't "meant" to be the same as the original, hence it being a "Remake". Please Google that term, rather than using Google to leave dumb reviews. If you continue to compare to that ONE movie you so much love, this movie will never be "good". I didn't see the original, nor do I care to see it. I haven't even watched any of the other ones, except in bits and pieces when on TV. So, I went into this blind and unbiased. It was actually a good movie. I wouldn't say it was GREAT, but I didn't finish it regretting two hours of my time. I will say, it didn't spend much time building up the story or characters. The movie kind of just jumped right into action within 5 minutes, which left me confused trying to piece together what exactly was going on. I'd give it a good 3.5/5. It was decent.

I liked it a lot. As usual, Korean movies are way better than US movies. It was worth the watch, though it can be a bit confusing. Perhaps due to the translation.

[Spoiler Alert]. Trash. I turned it off halfway out of boredom. The acting is terrible. It’s the typical Hollywood “Let’s blackball a gang member and make him a snitch, so that we can make a bust” plot. Which definitely wouldn’t happen IRL, being that it’s the CARTEL we are talking about. Yet, somehow this member instantly folded when they mentioned they raided his house and found guns/weapons. They didn’t even tell him what he would get out of it. He just starts cooperating. This movie was trash. I ended up watching a Korean movie, which 9/10 has way better plots than US movies.
