I think this may be the first ever Tom Hanks movie I have seen and not loved. Love him, but this movie not at all! It was so boring with very little to the plot. I only watched the whole thing hoping Tom would turn it around. Nope. Fell flat and while I usually get all up in my feels with a good movie, this one didn't hit my emotions, not a tear or a laugh.

I had not read the book, but I will now. Absolutely loved this movie and the message being told. I was fooled for a second thinking oh no, he is sucking her back in (like they will do), and she is falling for it, ugh! But then I was so proud of her! Everyone in the theater was clapping in the end.
