First and foremost, the direction is par excellence, cast is well thought of, screenplay is almost perfect considering the complex storyline, Naseerudin shah and all other supporting cast members have worked extremely hard to ensure they hold the viewer mesmerised throughout the series...in fact it's a great show to watch and not be missed...I have given it four stars and not five is simply due to the notion I had on the Salim and Anarkali story as portrayed in numerous other movies and novels leaving me lost!!
