What a fantastic film, and very poignant watching it on the 11th November. The music was wonderful and the singing was inspiring. Funny, sad and thought provoking. Best film I’ve seen in ages. Well worth a watch

Heart warming film but showed the true love of a couple who have lived together for 70 years and made the most of their days together. Very well acted, especially Glenda Jackson. Also showed the reality and needless loss of war. A lovely touch was when he met up with veteran German soldiers (a very emotional scene) This film is well worth watching. Probably Michael Caines last film and definitely Glenda Jackson’s last film (RIP)

This plot was so bad. I love these sort of "end of the world" movies but this started off bad and then got worse and, quite honestly, ridiculous in the end. There were so many cliche lines in it and scenes just recycled from other films. A very long film to sit through when there's nothing good to talk about at the end
