I only put this on because I like Alan Carr. I didn't expect much but its just brilliant. Such a lighthearted portrayal of growing up in a world full of bigots. We've moved on since the 80's but not far enough. Alan Carr is brilliant but the boy who plays young Alan is such a talent. Well worth a watch.
