Boring, plodding, and even the dinosaurs were meh at best. Looked like the designs were "inspired" by Peter Jackson's King Kong. Emotional B plot was shoved in for what exactly? *Spoilers* And the whole "aliens visited earth" angle was wasted. They could have found another survivor, stayed in one of the ships that had life support and been our ancestors. Went back into stasis and woken up when Neanderthals were a thing.and it could be implied. Hell they didn't even have to be aliens, they could have been future humans who got knocked into a black hole/worm hole and ended up in the past. So many better story option than what we actually got. Even a nonsense dinosaur popcorn flick would have been better than this.
