for me, along with Kanye's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy", "To Pimp A Butterfly" is as good as your gonna get with rap, hip-hop, and music in general. The amount of layers hidden amongst all 16 tracks, the constant shifting of ideas and metaphors, and the splendid production make this a serious contender for the greatest rap album to be fathomed. Must listen for all music fans.
