Dude, this movie is great! My expectations were low, considering it’s paranormal activity. Don’t get me wrong, I do like those movies. But it’s like, they pretty alright. This is a damn good movie! The best in the franchise (in my opinion). The jump scares we’re all amazing, the way it’s shot is beautiful, and the acting was actually pretty good! Don’t overlook this one, give it a chance and it will not disappoint. Slow build, but pays off later.

Honestly, giving this a second viewing, I really hope we get a completed sequel trilogy. I mean the movie predicted it’s own backlash within the movie. It does what the first movie did, and mirrors society and the system we live in. It literally states “people have given up, and just choose to live in the system.” The fact that people attack this movie (and many others) for being “too woke” blows my mind. It’s literally people being vocal about not wanting to wake up. The movie def has its flaws, but what movie doesn’t? Idk, I love all of the Matrix movies. Give me two more and I’ll be happy.

I went into this show expecting something more or less like the very few live action Halo projects that previously existed, so my expectations were low. It was clear right away that the show is doing it’s own thing with the story and characters, which is definitely not a bad thing (unless you’re a toxic fan who needs everything to be exactly what you already know it to be.) I must say, the show just gets better and better each episode. It took me a minute to get use to seeing Master Chiefs face all the time, but now I’m so glad it is what it is. The actor who plays John just nails it. Both mask on and off. Cortana definitely brings a lot to the show as well. I get so much nostalgia while watching something new and unexpected. The story is really good! If you can give it a solid chance, and just enjoy the show, it really does pay off. I went in skeptical but now I’m so hooked! Thanks Paramount for making this show!
