An enormous improvement on the Lagercrantz continuation of this series, albeit not reaching the heights of the original. Karin Smirnoff accurately captured and then developed the existing characters whilst introducing some likeable and hateable characters of her own, all while fitting in with the established story. I do not know what these other negative reviews are on about, I can't wait for the next installment.
