Ok, so Cage gets shot and the movie continues as if nothing occurred. Also, mom goes into the hallway to get ice, sees the bad guys and is able to reopen her door without a key card. However the bad guys come to the door and aren't able to open it, so they knock. Sloppy quality assurance. Enough said...
