The family dynamics really resonated with me who grew up in a traditional chinese family where the father dictates everything and somewhat oppresses the mother, even the tone and language of the father are relatable. The show did an amazing job demonstrating that. The exciting action scenes and several dark twists were entertaining as well. Though the show tries to cramp in too many characters and can feel redundent in some areas. And the subpar pronounciation of some of the actors and robotic translations are quite distracting. Especially Michelle Yoeh's Mom who looked like she was younger than her and spoke Canto with a really strong SE asian accent? Overall a great and refreshing show, Would watch a second season for sure.
