I had no idea this anime was going to have the budget it had. I’ve read the manga as it was released and absolutely loved, so I knew I would enjoy the anime regardless it turned out. But wow, the animation is genuinely beautiful. They also perfectly alter aspects like fight scenes from the manga to fit better within the medium of anime. It’s easily my go to anime for recommending to others, whether they’re a hardcore anime fan or completely new to anime.
