Hi, Master of the Air is a visually stunning series, with the horrors of the daylight bombing raids frightening to see. I do feel, however, that the tale/dialogue is lacking in depth with the performances of the main characters showing a lack of presence on screen. Apart from an 'in your face' confrontation by 'Eagan' in E3 with his co-pilot, an occasional hand wave and mumbled knowledge of individual crews names when killed/wounded/missing has all he has had to offer I feel. It has been mentioned that 'Band of Brothers' is a tough act to follow, but so far, I feel 'Masters' has a bit to catch up.
