I thoroughly enjoyed this insightful book into the life and development of one of my favorite authors, Rilla Askew. As a fellow Oklahoman, I could relate to several of the experiences and places she described. One of my favorite scenes was when she related her encounter with another great author, Larry McMurtrey, in his Texas bookstore. If you are a fan of Rilla Askew, this book is a must-read.
