It's truly disappointing because the game boasts amazing graphics, effects, and gameplay. It had immense potential, but the story is a massive letdown. Fans really connected with the bond between Joel and Ellie from the first game, who endured so much together just to survive. Unfortunately, that connection is lost in Part 2, especially with how Joel's character is treated and the introduction of a new character that players care little about. This feels like an affront to those who loved the first game. The writers and directors seem more concerned with pushing a feminist agenda than with creating a compelling narrative. I would challenge Neil Druckmann to rewrite and re-release The Last of Us Part 2—it appears that feminist activism overshadowed the preservation of the original, cherished story.
