It begins as a shade of Beauty and the Beast and then just turns into a copy of Hunger Games, Twilight and Harry Potter. I had to keep checking if this really was the first book in the series because I felt like I was missing some information on terms and names being used. I felt it was written well though but it was just too much of a copy of other books.
