I have to say I’m highly disappointed. I was really excited to see that it was being adapted for tv but it’s just to far away from the actual books. Why alter something that was already fabulous. When I read the beginning of the the first book it bought a tear to my eye, I know it’s not quite the same getting it to tv but they basically haven’t tried. If you haven’t read the books you will most probs enjoy more. The vamps in the book are monsters with glowing eyes not human like at all, they communicate through thought with one controlling them all. Amy is not the amazing person she is in the book she hasn’t got a certain special quality she has in the book.
