The Flat Earth Society that is represented by Mark Sargent, the main flat earth spokes person in the film, is well known to be a disinformation enterprise, working to discredit the Flat Earth Movement. I mean, now that the movement is reaching critical mass don't you think they would cover their tracks by flexing a bit of Netfilx muscle? After all they did go to the trouble of faking space travel.
