The entire movie can be encapsulated by a single word. Pointless.

I enjoyed it over all, but I don't understand the blatant historical inaccuracies that really weren't necessary. Alexander married darius daughter... there is no proof he had any affair with the wife. But the series goes the exact opposite direction?? Don't really understand why? Maybe to make him look more cruel to darius.
