The woman king film was from the producers Viola Davis,  Maria Bello and Cathy schulman. Written and sceenplay by Dana Stevens. The movie is fictional. Viola Davis and the cast is amazing! Great movie and re-written fictional story for the sole purpose of Entertainment. It is controversial because of the real true history behind the Real Dahomey tribe. The movie was well done in hollywood taste,  glorifying women heroic strengths and their beliefs of protecting their people in a fictional film.  In no way shape of form this movie is glorifying slavery & putting down men. Yes it has a few elements of names from the actual true history which the script was changed in the movie to portrayed  fictional story for the sole purpose of a women heroes-emotional journey of courage, strength, heroism, unforgotten pain, love & revenge. It's a damn good fictional  movie. There is a big difference between placing fictional story in historical context and making fictional history and there's none of it becauses its a fictional movie with a few fictonal characters. It may have been less controversial if they would have just made up a fictional tribe name instead of using Dahomey. If you Google the movie it explains the historical accuracy under the woman king movie wikipedia.. Excellent fictonal 🎬 movie... don't regret seeing it. As a movie collector will buy this when it comes out on DVD. Viola and the cast & crew get your paycheck..💯💯💯

Deep, intense, new light on Batman, and Zoe as catwoman did not Disappoint at all.. the movie was Awesome.. enjoyed it
