I’m only 4 episodes in, but I’m just cringing. I can’t get past the horrible accent. It sounds as if a mentally ill, delusional woman with multiple personalities shows up each episode. One minute there is a huge southern twang…. And the next, I’m not sure… is it supposed to be Russian? Julia is so good as Ruth, but much more work needed to go into dialect coaching. Expecting the viewer to just overlook this glaring inaccuracy is asking a lot… it’s just that bad. It’s a Netflix miss for me.
