Really lazy show, compared to Ricky Gervais's usual work. Get the feeling that he has had enough of trying to be clever with abrasive finger-pointing and now just complaining about things. Usually I'm a big fan of his work, from TV, stand up and even his music, but this show didn't get me to laugh out loud once. There were some funny moments, but when the general mood of the performance is so combative, it's hard to laugh when something funny in isolation happens. A very interesting sign of the show was at the end, just before fading to black. You see a number of audience members couldn’t wait to leave. Not the best sign...
