It wasn't horrible but it was quite boring. We haven't had a truly great horror movie in years. It's as if Hollywood noticed horror was starting to shine for a few years there and they didn't like it. Now we get these boring movies with loud music jump scares. This started off really intriguing and fell completely flat. The murder mystery aspect was the best. Very few deaths an extremely boring monster, if you can call it that. The acting was good. It's basically a one location film but cinematography was pretty good. I'm not quite understanding all the praise other than we're desperate for a good horror and not having too many anymore is lowering our standards.
