Awful character writing and plot. Unoriginal gameplay. Feels like a game that should have come out years ago.

Often spare on dialog but viscerally effective action and tension, this show focuses on the immediate impact and aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, following several groups of survivors as the world around them collapses into chaos. One of my favourite zombie shows, a refreshing change from the melodrama of the later Walking Dead.

Highly underated film, yeah it's a bit silly but under that it's a classic underdog story told with heart and humour. Great performances by Ledger as the peasant playing knight, Bettany as a wild take on Geoffrey Chaucer and Sewell doing his best villainous turn. If the idea of knights jousting to Queen's "We will rock you" doesn't turn you off then you'll love this.

Fairly derivative stuff borrowing heavily from shows like Heroes and Misfits. It says something that in a show featuring super powered humans that the most fantastical thing is a couple working in London as a delivery driver and social worker are somehow able to afford a nice apartment and a BMW. That said, after a slow first couple of episodes it did get a bit more interesting, unfortunately the limited six episode run didn't give this enough time to really build on some promising developments.
