The people who are leaving negative reviews here are talking a load of 'Male Bovine Excrement' lol. I loved every bit of it this cinematic masterpiece. I had my doubts at first in the beginning of the film judging from the synopsis that it might be another speck of dust into the vast majority of other films based on the same theme but boy was I left utterly speechless. I love the character development of a robot who is not even supposed to have a 'character' in the first place as the movie takes many unexpected turns and when you finally get the hang of it and of how is the story gonna end, it takes yet another twist seemingly prompting the viewer to use his imagination and emotional connection with the characters to develop a story. Other than that, the animation itself was spectacular and I love how Dreamworks Animation Studios always think outside the box when working on the animation style with stunning visuals and eye-catching illustrations, other than the boring old Pixar's 3d anthropomorphic animations that have followed the same style and design since Toy Story. This movie undoubtedly takes the spot for me from "The Iron Giant" (another different 'breed' of films that have a special place in my heart). 10/10. Even 9+ on IMdB and I can see why.
