This is a great show. However, as with all Holocaust movies and tv shows, I am again shocked by the absence of nay mention of people with disabilities. In the end of season two, in one setting, a person repeatedly lists the groups killed by the Nazis. The truth is that people with disabilities were the first group registered and murdered by the Nazis, systematically. Children were taken from their families and sterilized. Then, it was decided that they were a waste of food. Propaganda spread about the burden they were and that it would be kinder to kill them, kill us. At first they were euthanized by injection, in their beds. But that was taking too long and they started gassing them in groups. They were the test subjects for gas chambers. Ithey were the beginning. If society has stepped up to defend them, and held Hitler accountable., There would have been no Holocaust. Yet, they are never even mentioned in Nazi movies or productions . So, in the end, however good the series is, that last episode that neglects to even mention those with disabilities, I am left with a bitter taste in my mouth.
