Really enjoy the show , more for history than finding the gold. But carbon dating of tree stumps found in swamp seems ambiguous. As far as I know, it tells how old trees were. Not necessarily when they were cut down. Maybe these trees were 200yrs old when cut down? Sometimes there are so many many professionals and different people it gets confusing to me. I wish I had enough money to come visit and explore the area. Maybe I should look for gold here ! LOL
