"A disarmingly off-beat story of a man and his dog and their comic interactions with the local denizens of Bushwick, Brooklyn. Not the usual, sentimental approach to dog movies. This is not Lassie. It does, however, have some really beautiful and memorable dogs. What their owners get up to, is something else all together. Obsessive is not a word to be used lightly, but with a US dog population of 89 million (68% of all households have one) Americans clearly love their dogs, often treating them like members of the family. Malcolm (Solvan Slick Naim) the main character of the film, takes things just a bit further calling his pug Bruno, a human being. Woe to anyone who gets in the way. Slick Naim, who is the writer, producer, actor and director of the film, blends his own music effortlessly into the film. You’ll be wowed."
