I only learned about the Persona series by taking a recommendation to play Royal. Afterwards I found Golden on sale and decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed. While the world isn’t as big as 5 the characters are quirky yet interesting. I could play for hours on end. I beat the game and got the good ending then immediately started over with the goal of getting the Golden ending, it was worth all the time I put it. The controls were easy to pick up , the combat easy to understand. I wanted to spend more time with the cast and learn about their back stories. I will play this game a third time after a break. If you’re on the fence about spending the money on this game I say go for it if your a fan of the other games or a fan of turn-based, story driven RPGs.
