It takes a lot for me to throw my hands up in despair while watching a film alone, but I must have done that four times, most memorably when a character covered in a flammable liquid is set on fire and everything around them burns while they stay unharmed. And it was only hours later that I realised Sharlto Copley's plotline did not resolve, even in the deliberately blunt way of say, the cop in "Sicario". Its not worth cancelling your Netflix subscription to avoid seeing it: fast-forward to the half-decent set-pieces that do not for one second look like they were filmed in the USA.
