I'm a huge music and guitar fan. I have read biographies of Bruce Springsteen, Keith Richards, Willie Nelson, Eric Clapton, Don Felder and Carly Simon. I have to say Francis Rossi's is one the best. If you watch him talking live he occasionally throws in this witty commentary on his own. conversation. He does the same in the book occasionally which is so authentic Rossi. He is also very frank in his discussion of relationships both in the band and family. He is a lapsed Catholic, but is very honest about his life. He has a great work ethic and has compromised his family life for Quo. Although without that that I don't think we would have such a great artist/guitarist and body of work, which is largely unappreciated. 3 chords my backside. Keith Richards gets a lot of respect for being a great guitarist. I have learnt Rolling Stones songs and I have learnt Status Quo songs. I personally find Status Quo songs much harder to learn. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a copy of this book! You won't be disappointed.
