Don’t waste your time. As much as I love Zendaya, this movie was terrible. The plot line was difficult to follow, jumping back and forth through time (13 years earlier, 1 year later, 1 day before etc) making it very confusing. It was horribly filmed with bad directorial choices in general: So much slow mo - to the point where you want to skip the whole ending. It didn’t build tension or make it dramatic - it was just unnecessary and annoying. There’s no real concept or purpose to the story and what was with all the loud techno and church choir music?? It was over powering - you couldn’t really hear the dialogue but thank god because script was rubbish anyway. I’ve never written a review for a film before so it must be bad. Save yourself some money and time and don’t bother. You’re welcome.
