Very inspiring movie. Nicely made without too much showiness but aptly showcased a middle-class household. A must-watch for women who follow their passion and juggle their dream career with raising a family. Huma Q. was superlative but the emotional part played by Nalin near the end of the movie, when he speaks about the role of a husband in a woman's triumph made me cry. Very nice acting by the male lead.

Just loved the film. I saw it on Amazon Prime video and completely bowled over by Ranveer and Alia's chemistry. But the main strength of the film is its strong ensemble cast that beautifully brought out the differences in the Bengali and Punjabi cultures. Not because I am a Bengali, but Tota and Churni Ganguly were superlative in their roles. How I loved people speaking Bengali in a Hindi language film! And the old Hindi classic songs as well as the new ones were the high points of this beautifully made film. Thanks, Karan Johar, again, for this masterpiece. The film broke gender stereotypes effectively and I'm sure made people think.

Very nicely made movie. A perfect Jan 26 watch as it is filled with patriotism. Tightly paced movie with a great plot. It is a fulfilling experience, and you will like Vidyut Jamwal in this movie. It is not his usual action-packed role, but too good.

Liked the movie. Good locations, plot, acting (Akshay's and AP's) and ending.

Beautifully made cinema. Loved the chemistry between the lead pairs and the drama building up. Loved the retro charm, the music, and the ending. But most of all loved Vijay Sethupati. What an actor!
