Simply an AMAZING new edition to Alice Cooper's already grand musical legacy!
It has a vintage Alice Cooper feel to it - going back to his classical 70s hard rock from Detroit sound. However, as ever, with bitingly witty and relevant lyrics and themes, alluding to the current "apocalyptic" times of social and political unrest owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Particularly, his uplifting and motivational speech in "Hanging on by a Thread", the dark and heavy brooding mood of "Social Debris" and his deceptively bright and cheery cover of Outrageous Cherry's "Our Love Will Change the World" that ultimately still manages to carry a positive message.
With the album combining so many different rock music genres to choose from, including both classical rock & roll, Alice's traditional heavy metal sound as well as grunge, glam, punk and blues, you never quite know what to expect next. There isn't a single "boring" or "uninspired" track on the album. His best album of the millennium yet! (in my opinion)
