Switch: Quite possibly one of the worst games i’ve ever played in a very long time. The game feels incredibly rushed, the graphics are terribly jagged and the animations are not smooth. There are a ton of graphical glitches and some things just look very weird, as if they just left things in there by accident. The audio quality is terrible. Certain characters and SFX sound either too muffled or way too loud and just overall sounds uneven. You cannot bind your R3 R4 thumb sticks which is not the biggest let down but very disappointing considering this is what’s supposed to be a console video game. This feels more like a mobile game, very disappointing considering the first 2 South Park games were very good. But what else can you expect for a $29.99 launch price game. P.S. the boss battles are terrible. edit - just replayed it to see if my opinion has changed since time went on. Still possibly one of the worst games in the switch library.

I’m a little late to the party, but this was my first introduction to Serious Sam as of recent. I purchased this on the PS2 and I find it to be very fun. I’ve seen a lot of reviews say the gamecube version is the much superior one and ‘you should start there’ but the only differences I have seen are the graphics and sound. I will admit, the gamecube version does look a bit better, the graphics on the PS2 version give it this charm that makes it more unique to the console and it still looks great, even the lighting and water look so good for its time. Nontheless, they both play identical to each other. A very fun game and still a solid port to anybody looking to enjoy a Serious Sam game.

Serious Sam: Next Encounter

I will never forget the day I was first introduced to this on X360. It has brought me great memories and laughter. Literally THOUSANDS of hours has been put into this game overtime. The map (Steelport) is very spacious and the perfect size to free roam and cause chaos. The story and gameplay is good but be prepared to do a lot of challenges to progress through, but still a lot of fun. One of my personal favorites of all time. I own this on every single platform (including the remasters) and beat it multiple times. It has a ton of replay value, you will not regret it.
