Terrible acting, so very slow at times, repeats the same scenes over and over again. Flips from the dead of night, to day light, to night time - I’m like - what the heck?? The dialogue is awful. We have not watched an Apple TV series we haven’t loved - until this. I just don’t understand - this seems like a great story to tell - it shouldn’t be this hard. It is really painful to watch. It also veers away from the book quite a bit. We will watch the series - but I’m already mad at the time I have wasted on it so far! Don’t waste your time on the TV show. Just read or listen to the book - so much better!
