confused bug

whether you are attempting to watch this show for educational or entertainment purposes, it is not worth it. not only does it lack any educational substance, never attempting to delve into anything beyond a very surface level understanding (and on many occasions just being flat out wrong), but it also fails to even be interesting. some of the shots are beautifully done, but many of them are repeated, one specific shot I counted being replayed at least 4 times. it drags on far too much, whilst somehow still managing to say nothing. and despite being heavily advertised as a paleolithic documentary, a huge chunk of it is about modern day species, and whilst that could be an interesting take on the way evolution has shaped the ecological landscape today, the series fails to utilise this opportunity in any sense whatsoever, only adding extra padding to an already painfully boring documentary. don't recommend, just watch prehistoric planet instead
