Every detail on this movie was so accurate and perfect. This masterpiece took me right back to my own upbringing in Mexico City. Cuarón also played hommage to many of the idiosyncracies prevalent in my youth (the radio commercials, announcers, Professor Zoveck, Cruz Azul, the political posters, the city, the knife sharpener and the sweet potato car whistling through the neighborhood before dawn, Tuxpan, let alone the dynamics between family and the help). Thank you Cuarón for this extraordinary movie and for making me look back at my youth.
