I eagerly anticipated this series for many years and was thrilled until I realized that it does not focus on Batman. In certain episodes, the emphasis on "woke" characters overshadows the fact that it is a Batman cartoon. Despite giving it a chance, I will not continue watching if a second season is released. The animation was impressive, but that is the only positive aspect I can mention. I am deeply disappointed and saddened by this outcome. I recommend re-watching Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond for a more authentic Batman experience. But if you want to watch a series about Gotham City police department starring Barbra Gordan by all means be my guest.
