I love comedies and expected this to be a great laugh, until the fake rape monkey scene. From a rape victim I'd love to know why rape jokes are even considered funny? I'm not part of any kind of cancel culture and I love a good joke that's a bit 'off' but rape jokes and racist jokes are not OK. After #metoo and continued coming out of victims all around the world, I'd love to know why anyone would think it's ok? Putting on a Monkey suit doesn't make it any different... I was loving the movie until that point... I hope none of the actors or crew have loved ones that have been victims of rape who may have been negatively affected by this scene <3
