Agree with the articulousness of James' post. I love the hint also, of jazz in the music score throwing light on the music scene of chicago days past and now. Love the racine adress ref too and for me my throw backs to when I lived and schooled in chi and all the interesting old buildings and beautiful architecture, whether all filmed there, or partially. Nevertheless I felt I did recognize some of those old places, semi stomp ground days for me. I winced hoping, 'just a movie' at all the bullet rounds, hitting beautiful architecture thinking, not real right, right?! Thought briefly of h.h.holmes and the white city stuff. The funniest was the falls off buildings. The coolest was that it was all prohibitions fault. Cheers to that!
